Former Bronco Travis Henry Busted in Cocaine Deal

If you haven’t heard it by now, let me fill you in.Travis Henry

    Travis Henry is an idiot.

    Why?

Because the idiot just got busted by the DEA for buying a whole butt-load of cocaine with intent to distribute.

For someone who signed a five year contract worth $22.5 million in 2007, only an idiot would now want to be a drug dealer. I think Henry and Ricky Williams went to the same charm school. They’d both rather do drugs then remain millionaires.

Although he was released by the Denver Broncos earlier this year, the man could have signed with another team had he’d been able to stay clean of drugs. Plus, I’m sure he has some cash left over from a year ago before he was released, so why turn to drugs.

    Such a waste of talent.

Maybe he picked up this “side-job” in hopes to  help support the rumored nine children he has with nine different women.

Something tells me he won’t be back in the NFL or on his way to a Daddy of the Year award anytime soon.

Denver Broncos Release Travis Henry for Lack of Commitment

Posted June 2, 2008 by nick

When I found out why the Denver Broncos released running back Travis Henry, I was extremely upset. And not because the Broncos had released him, but because it wasTravis Henry is released over something so stupid that Henry could have avoided.

What was the reason? Well, apparently the Broncos thought that Henry showed a lack of commitment, so they let him go. I don’t know how someone could not dedicate themselves to playing football and only football when they are paid millions of dollars. Especially for Henry, who recently just signed a five-year, $22.5 million contract in 2007. Henry has not only been nagged by injuries in recent seasons, but he’s also failed a marijuana test and was almost suspended for the season until he appealed it and won. With both the injuries and now drug issues, the Broncos felt it was time to move on.

Shoot, have the Broncos sign me for five-years for a fraction of his contract and I’ll show up everyday, stay away from Mary-Jane and run around that field like Adam Sandler in Waterboy. Some players really don’t see how lucky they are.
