I just caught site of this picture and found it quite funny.

I didn’t know the airlines were doing so bad that they needed to use sex as an advertising ploy. Are we such a shallow culture, that people will buy more tickets just because there is a hot, beautiful, half-naked woman painted on the side of an airliner?

Yes we are.

Southwest Airlines has taken things to a whole new level, putting the most recent Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition on the side of one of their planes.

I can see it now. Little kids, holding their little teddy bears at the airport terminals, next to hungover frat boys coming back from Vegas, watching the planes land.

“Look, up in the sky! “

“It’s a bird!”

“It’s a plane!”

“Wait…those are Bo…”
