Deuce McAllister and Bankruptcy, Owes Nissan $7 Million

    Deuce McCallister

I’ve never understood how some professional athletes go broke.

Some, I understand make the league minimum, and with all their agent fees and what not, they’re not necessarily “rich”, but comfortable.

But for those that are veterans and make millions a year, I just shake my head.

The most recent to fall into the “broke club” is Deuce McAllister, formerly of the New Orleans Saints. The former Pro Bowl running back’s Nissan auto dealership in Jackson, Mississippi has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. And now Nissan is looking to figure out how to get the $7 million that McAllister owes them.

OK, so I understand the economy is in bad shape and people aren’t necessarily buying cars, so this isn’t really his fault. Just bad luck. I shouldn’t kick a man while he’s down.

And to think, if he wasn’t released by the Saints a few weeks ago, he would have made $7 million this season. Coincidence, I think not!

    I blame Reggie Bush.

Soon to Be Bust? Reggie Bush Has Another Knee Surgery

    Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian

A bust: pertains to a player who has not lived up to his/her athletic potential.

That term is slowly, but surely getting associated with Reggie Bush. Although he’s put up some good numbers over the years, the Houston Texans are looking more like prophets for drafting Mario Williams ahead of the former Heisman Trophy winner. Especially after this latest set back.

It looks like that left knee of Bush’s is going to give him some more problems and is inching him closer to that horrific title every athlete hopes to avoid. Bush had another surgery on his knee, making it his third procedure. He’s going to need months of rehab, but is expected to be ready for mini-camp in June.

Poor Reggie Bush. Well, good thing he got that nice contract when he entered the league, because from the looks of it, he won’t be getting another one like it. But hey, if he hangs around with Kim Kardashian after his career, maybe he can earn a paycheck then with reoccurring appearances on her show.

Hey, it’s either that or Dancing with the Stars, and that looks to be a long shot. We don’t need him blowing out his knee doing the jitterbug.

Kim Kardashian’s Calendar to Reggie Bush Hits the Net

    Kim Kardashian

I wonder what Kim Kardashian got her mother for Mother’s Day yesterday. Especially after her mother found a personal calendar of Kim that she had made for her boyfriend, Reggie Bush, and decided to sell it.

I didn’t catch it, but all the juicy details were revealed on the most recent episode of their reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Apparently the curvy Kim put together this sexy calendar for Bush and only Bush, and when her mother found out about it, she sold the calendar and then it had miraculously appeared on a stand somewhere. Bush and Kim weren’t very happy, leading Kim to buy back all the calendars herself.

If you’re curious to see more photos from the calendar, C0-ED Magazine has a few of the photos from the calendar here.
