Clemen’s Reaches 350
The fourth time is the charm for Roger Clemens.
After losing his previous three starts after getting a victory in his season debut, the Rocket got win No. 350 last night. He became the first player, and eighth overall, to do so since Hall of Famer Warren Spahn reached the total back in 1963.
Clemens’ record now stands at 2-3 with the 5-1 win over the Minnesota Twins. He pitched eight innings and finished with four strikeouts.
