Jack Elway, Son of John Elway, Quits ASU Football

It looks like Jack Elway is following in the footsteps of Jay Cutler, instead of his father. Jack Elway quits football

    He’s quitting on his team.

Jack, the son of NFL legend John Elway, has decided to quit the Arizona State football team after redshirting his freshman year.

Apparently it wasn’t the pressure of living in his father’s shadow that got to him. He just wanted to quit the game altogether and just go to college and pursue other dreams.

Hopefully Jack’s other goals in life don’t involve his father’s other passion which is selling Toyota Camrys and Tundras. Hate to tell you Jack, there’s not much glory and many 21 year-old sorority chicks hanging around the used car lot. Well, unless they’re there to buy a car of course.

But hey, to each his own.

Prank Gone Bad: Peyton’s Joke on Cutler Backfires

     Jay Cutler Gets Pranked

Pranks sure are fun…that is until they go bad.

Peyton Manning’s bright idea of throwing Jay Cutler into their hotel pool, with the help of a few offensive lineman, was supposed to be a friendly Pro Bowl “baptism”. They thought that they had every angle covered. They even managed to snag away Cutler’s cell phone before his little dip.

    There was just one problem.

Cutler is a Type 1 diabetic and in his pocket was his blood sugar monitor. A blood sugar monitor that is not water proof.

So after the little plunge, you guessed it. It got fried.

“It was a bad audible on our part,” Manning said. “I think we were thinking right, trying to get the cell phone. Then we realize, the guy gets insulin shots. We missed that.”

Yeah, Manning. Great thinking. Good thing you got the cell though. That way if Cutler needed to call an ambulance later, he’d be set!

Hey Peyton, I know a kid on crutches, just in case you get bored and want to push him down some stairs.
