Armed Fan: Man With Gun Broke onto DWTS Set

Shawn Johnson - Dancing with the Stars

If you’re a follower of the show (don’t act like you’re not) Dancing with the Stars, then this shouldn’t be news to you. But for those of you who are not (or in denial), this should be news to you.

A man was arrested on the set after he jumped a fence, while armed with two pistols and duct tape.

Robert O’Ryan, 34, was arrested for trying to see Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, who is 17 and a performer on the popular show.

O’Ryan said in police statements that he moved from Florida to California to be with Johnson and that they were meant to be together and have children. Hmm…sure buddy.

I once had an obsession for Jessica Rabbit. I went to the studio lot to find her, but they told me she wasn’t real. Even tried to find her agent, but had no luck. It’s OK, she’s just playing hard to get. I like that in a woman.

Jessica, if you’re reading this…nevermind. I don’t want to ruin the thrill of the chase. SEE YOU SOON!

Usain Bolt Can Run Faster Than His Honda Accord

     Usain Bolt

Well, probably not, but I’m sure he’s not far behind.

So if you haven’t heard of Usain Bolt, let me introduce you to the fastest man in the world, who shattered both the 100m and 200m records at the Beijing Olympics. He’s also the man who unseated his fellow Jamaican teammate Asafa Powell from the fastest man title.

Now that Powell is no longer the fastest man, he can add a new title to his name: mechanic.

Not only does Powell own a line of luxury cars, but he’s also good at turning the wrench. And even lends a helping hand to fix up Bolt’s Honda Accord.

What I’m wondering is why is this man still driving a Honda Accord and making his teammate fix it up? A man like that should have a Bentley parked on every corner for all the money he’s probably raking in.

The Usain Bolt Interview You Didn’t See

We’ve all seen Usain Bolt run away from the pack in the 100 meters, easily breaking the record in 9.69 seconds.

But, did you see this interview featuring the Jamaican sprinter and his play-by-play of the race. He must have been moving pretty fast, because I didn’t see any of this happening.

And is it just me or does the other Jamaican runner look 12?

Anyways, thanks to Denny for sending this spoof video.

Usain Bolt Bolts to Another World Record in the 200

Posted August 20, 2008 by nick
    Found in: Olympics

Usain Bolt solidified his position as the “World’s Fastest Man” becoming the first sprinter to capture the world records in the 100 meter and 200 meter at anUsain Bolt Olympic games since 1984.

Not since the great Carl Lewis has a sprinter dominated the two events in record form. Bolt, who was criticized by some, while in awe by others for pulling up early in his 100 meter performance, ran hard for this entire race, finishing in 19.30 seconds.

He breaks the former world record in the 200 meters formerly held by the US’ Michael Johnson at 19.32 seconds.

The endorsement money is sure to be piling in soon for Bolt. He’s most likely due a huge bonus for his performance in the 100 meters and this most likely means he’ll be getting another bonus check.

The scary part is, he’s only going to get faster.

Usain Bolt Slowed Down to Make More Money Later?

    Usain Bolt

If you didn’t catch the race for the fastest man on earth, then you missed one of the greatest sprints in history.

But as great and fast as it was, it could have been faster.

Jamaica’s Usain Bolt literally blew away the competition. He did it with such ease that he pulled up 20 meters early and still broke his own world record to finish the 100 meters at 9.69 seconds. Could he have done it under 9.6 if he gave his full effort? Maybe next time.

There is a theory out there that Bolt didn’t run at full speed because he can earn more money later on by beating the world record again, with incentive bonuses.

Back in May when Bolt broke the world record, his sponsor Digicell gave him a $1.8 million dollar bonus. Could there be more of these bonuses for every time he breaks the record? It sure appears that way.

No one will no until there is official confirmation, but that is where the conspiracy theory now stands.

NBC’s Andrea Joyce Makes Alicia Sacramone Cry

Posted August 14, 2008 by nick

    Alicia Sacramone

I wish I had a video of this to show, but YouTube took them all down. Sometimes having a visual presentation is more informational to see how rude a person can be.

Yes, I know it’s a reporter’s job to ask the hard questions, but to ask someone who just got done balling because she pretty much had lost the gold for her team some obvious questions, is just unnecessary. You know the girl is fragile. They got the silver, talk about that.

NBC’s Andrea Joyce caught up with Alicia Sacramone on Wednesday, apparently to just make her cry.

The questioning went something like this:

    • “Take us through what was swirling through your head …”

    • “Do you blame yourself? …”

    • “You’re the emotional leader and team captain. Did your mistakes rattle the rest of your team? …”

    • “What was going through your head when you fell off the beam? …”

    • “You worked a long time to get here; what were you thinking? …”

Good job Andrea. Why don’t you strap her to a chair and replay her falling off the beam, over and over and over again. I’m sure that’ll break her more.
