Bullet Casings Linked to Marvin Harrison?

Marvin Harrison has been getting questioned recently for a shooting that occurred just outside his car wash and garage in Philadelphia. I didn’tMarvin Harrison really say much about this because for one: it was all over the news anyways. And two: the police said the questioning was just routine since it was his car wash and he wasn’t a suspect. They were interviewing a lot of people. And seeing how it’s Marvin Harrison, I didn’t think that he could be involved in such a ridiculous crime.

Well, it looks like the scenario may have changed slightly.

The police are now saying that six of the bullet casings found at the scene of the April 29th shooting belong to Harrison. The bullets were apparently fired from a gun owned by Harrison.

Harrison’s representative have said that he was not present during the shooting and that his gun was not involved, while his attorney has chosen not to release a comment.

I really hope that Harrison played no part in this shooting. For a player of his caliber and the way he has held himself on and off the field up until this incident has always been positive. I expect something like this from Pacman Jones. But Harrison? Never in a million years.

Roger Clemens Linked to John Daly’s Ex, Paulette Dean Daly

    Roger Clemens

And the hits just keep on coming for Roger Clemens.

No he hasn’t resurrected his now questionable baseball career, but reports have now surfaced that the Rocket had a romantic relationship with the ex-wife of pro golfer John Daly, Paulette Dean Daly. This report comes just days after Clemens was tied to a romantic relationship with country singer Mindy McCready.Paulette Dean Daly with ex-husband John Daly

According to the New York Daily News, Clemens arranged trips for Daly to Anaheim Stadium to watch him pitch against the Angels while he was playing for the New York Yankees. In addition to the Anaheim trips, he was also to have spent some time with Daly in Palm Springs, California.

When asked to comment about whether her relationship with Clemens was romantic, Daly is quoted saying, “You know what, I’m really uncomfortable talking about this. I’m just going to have to say, ‘No comment.”

For a guy who stayed relatively quiet and away from controversy his entire career, Clemens’ reputation as both a player, husband and friend have now all been thrown under the bus. First the steroid allegations and now his romantic links to McCready and Daly. What’s next? He clubbed a baby seal while dumping motor oil into the Chesapeake Bay while he played for the Red Sox?

Buffalo Guard Suspended for Term Paper Ad on Facebook

My guess is that if you’re going to cheat, you probably wouldn’t want to broadcast it, let alone post an ad on the Internet.Andy Robinson

But that’s exactly what University at Buffalo basketball player Andy Robinson did. The junior posted an ad on Facebook.com marketplace in search for a student who could write a term paper for him for one of his courses.

    The grammatically incorrect ad read:

“I am paying anybody who have read the book ‘there are no children here’ by Alex Kotlowitz $30-40 which in some classes you have to read at UB (even more money if you have to read the book a little more!!) to write a 3-4 page paper, on a couple of questions which was assigned.”

Robinson, the leading scorer for the team at 13.4 points last season, has been suspended indefinitely and has since completely the paper on his own.

Chris Henry Arrested Again. Charged with Assault

    Chris Henry

    Chris Henry.

You’d think by now with all the chances you’ve been given and with the more strict NFL policies in place, you would lock yourself in your house and avoid conflict at any cost.

Chris Henry was arrested today for him punching an 18-year-old and smashing out windows with beer bottles in an incident in Cincinnati Monday night. He is charged with misdemeanor assault and criminal damaging. Smooth move.

I wonder if he Henry ever was told the phrase, “just walk away.”

For those of you who had forgotten, Henry was already suspended last year for eight games for repeatedly violating the leagues conduct policy. And now this marks his third incident since the suspension and fourth arrest in the last 14 months.

Something is telling me that Mr. Henry won’t be playing much next season for the Bengals again.

Jose Canseco Tried to Blackmail Magglio Ordonez?

    Jose Canseco

I wish Jose Canseco would just go away, but with all the steroid talk in baseball, how can Mr. Steroid himself avoid the press.

And with Canseco’s new book Vindicated due out March 31st, The New York Times has reported that Canseco had tried to blackmailMagglio Ordonez Detroit Tigers outfielder Magglio Ordonez for cash to avoid being mentioned in his book.

Canseco has denied asking Ordonez for money and also failed to comment whether or not he mentions Ordonez in his new book. Ordonez notified Tigers president Dave Dombrowski that one of Canseco’s friends had tried to get in touch with him, but not sure why. The two were teammates for the 2001 season while with the Chicago White Sox.

Now this leaves me with a couple thoughts. Is Canseco really going around trying to blackmail players for money to keep them out of his book and are those players actually paying him to keep quiet?

Let’s just hope that this new report is false and players haven’t stooped to a new low.

Another Strip Club, Another Pac Man Jones Incident

We all knew that sooner or later we’d be getting some new juice on Pac Man Jones, so don’t act too surprised with this.Pac Man Jones

Needless to say, Pac Man Jones is back in trouble with the law again, and it involves another strip club. This time a woman is accusing the Tennessee Titans player of punching her in an Atlanta club. As if the charges in Las Vegas weren’t enough, he just couldn’t stay out of a club and try to better his image.

According to the article, Jones was angry at the club’s managers, saying they stole his money and bracelet. Wanda S. Jackson was in the club’s office and came out to look at what was going on, where she says Jones lunged over to her and sucker punched her in the face.

Jackson, an attorney who was there to deal with the owner’s divorce, says she was sucker punched by Pac Man Jones.

I think we should all just give up with Pac Man. The only way to keep him out of strip clubs and out of trouble is to shut down every pole joint. We can’t count on him to stay out of trouble. It just follows him.

LeBron James Has a Bit of a Heavy Foot

Apparently LeBron James is not only the king of the court, but he’s trying to become king of theLeBron James highway.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star was pulled over going 101 mph in a 65 mph zone on December 3oth, his 23rd birthday.

His attorney filed a not guilty plea for James, who’s court hearing is schedule for February 11th.

I really don’t see how his lawyer is going to fight this seeing how James was pulled over by a Ohio State Highway Patrol officer at 2:43 a.m.

The excuse of him saying he’s late for a game was kind of thrown right out of the window.

Arkansas’ Darren McFadden Handcuffed Following Bar Fight

Posted January 10, 2008 by nick

    Darren McFadden

Why is it that when talented athletes are either in their prime or about to go pro and they have to get mixed up in some kind of trouble.

That was almost the case with Arkansas’ Darren McFadden when he was briefly detained following a bar fight in Little Rock. The running back and Heisman trophy runner-up was involved in the fight, but didn’t get arrested.

His brother was involved in an altercation and received a bloody nose. McFadden was overly agitated and angry and police officers had to detain the player to help calm him down.

Good thing cause if McFadden had really started to cause some trouble before he declared himself for the draft, he might have had the “character issues” or “troublemaker” labels attached to his name and could have had his stock drop. Actually, his stock probably wouldn’t have dropped, but we do want him to get that big paycheck to help him pay for some better wheels than these.

It’s early and I’m having a bit of a hard time finding something sports worthy to write about so I thought I’d post this quick clip of some dude on an ATV is who looks like he has way too much time on his hands.

Maybe Johnny Knoxville will see this and recruit him for the next Jackass movie.

Wonder What it Looks Like Under a Moving Train?

I bet you’re wondering what is going on in the picture below.

Why is that guy laying down on those train tracks and what does this have to do with sports?

Well, for one, I have no idea why he’s laying down on the tracks risking his life for entertainment purposes. Second, it has nothing to do with sports, but if risking your life to film a train driving over you, I call him a daredevil, therefore, that is a sport.

    Watch it now.
