If you have never skated before there is no reason to be scared to try it out.   You don’t have to be the next Tony Hawk to pick up a board and find your way down a street.  Chances are there aren’t any 30 foot half pipes on your way to work, and if there is you can just skate around them!

You also don’t have to be scared of the cost because while there are plenty of expensive boards out there, if you are just starting out or don’t plan on going to the X Games you can find quality, discount skateboards.
