Pacman Jones Makes His Wrestling Debut

So Pacman Jones finally made his wrestling debut Sunday night, if you call stepping into a ring for an interview wrestling.

Jones, the Tennessee Titans’ defensive back who is currently suspended by the NFL for his run ins with the law, including his involvement in a Las Vegas strip club shooting, did more talking than wrestling.

Besides his interview in the ring, the only other attention Jones got was when a camera crew showed him being put on a stretcher with a neck brace. Just another make believe, behind the camera “fight” that never took place. It says in Pacman’s contract that he’s not allowed to touch or be touched so wrestling is definately out of the question.

I feel sorry for those who actually paid for this Total Nonstop Action Wrestling event, since it was just built up hype for someone that doesn’t deserve it. Unless people actually thought they were going to see him get a beat down, then maybe I’d understand.

It’s not nearly as interesting as the headline reads.Pacman Jones

Pacman Jones turned himself in early this morning to Nevada authorities for felony charges for his involvement in the triple shooting at the Las Vegas strip club during the NBA All-Star weekend.

His stay at the jail was short-lived as Jones posted the $20,000 bond and was only in custody for about an hour. After leaving the Clark County Detention Center, he returned back to Nashville.

Jones has been arrested six times since the Tennessee Titans drafted him in April of 2005, although he has never been convicted of a crime.

His next court appearance is on July 27 in Las Vegas Justice Court where he faces two felony charges of coercion that could land him up to 12 years in prison.

So Pacman Jones took out a full page ad in The Tennessean on April 20th, apologizing to his family, friends, team and fans for the trouble he’s been getting into the past few YEARS.Pacman Jones

Did you get that last word? It said YEARS.

Although I’m sure the ad is sincere, and it’s a great start in trying to win everyone’s trust back. But Pacman. Dude. Pal. You should have started that YEARS ago.

I’ve always believed that actions speak louder than words, and although this is an action, I need to see more.
