DeShaun Jackson Celebrates Touchdown Before Scoring

I’m a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. HUGE.
So last night during the Monday Night showcase between the Dallas Cowboys and the Eagles, I knew I was in for a great game. I had my Papa John’s pizza laid out in front of me, volume up loud, I was prepared (although the stupid delivery guy forgot my breadsticks, but I had to move on).
Anyways, in what was a depressing loss to the Cowboys, this game isn’t going to be remembered probably for the great offensive game it was, but more for the boneheaded play of the Eagles’ DeSean Jackson.
I love DeSean, don’t get me wrong. I was ecstatic when the Eagles stole him in the second round last year, but Jackson is known for being a showboat and VERY cocky. Like T.O.-level cocky.
And it showed last night, when Donovan McNabb and him connected for what would have been a great touchdown bomb. Jackson decided to showboat about a yard too soon, tossing the ball before he even crossed the goal line! STUPID! I nearly had a heart attack. The Eagles eventually scored, but seriously, who does that.
For Jackson, he’s now done it twice. Last night and in high school.
