Peyton Manning Loses His Cool on the Sidelines

    Peyton Manning

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this side to Peyton Manning before. The quarterback apparently had some miscommunication with his lineman about who should be calling the plays in the huddle. And you gotta give the man a little respect for getting up in his teammates’ faces like a quarterback should.

But at the same time, it’s a little hard to take him seriously when he’s his voice his squeaking like a 14-year-old boy during puberty.

Show Me the Money! Eagles Sue Terrell Owens for $770,000

That’s what the Philadelphia Eagles have been screaming to Terrell Owens and now they have taken the matter to the U.S. District Court.Terrell Owens

Owens lost in arbitration earlier this year, where he was ordered to repay $1.7 million in bonus money the team paid him during the 2004 and 2005 seasons. Apparently Owens still has about $770,000 to repay or to be exact, $769,117.

Remember a while back Owens trademarked the phrase, “I Love Me Some Me”? Well, the Eagles want some of you too Owens. All $770,000 of you. I don’t see what the hold up is. You should have some money left over from the 3-year, $25 million contract you signed with the Dallas Cowboys.

Buffalo Guard Suspended for Term Paper Ad on Facebook

Posted April 28, 2008 by nick
Found in: NCAA, What Were They Thinking!?

My guess is that if you’re going to cheat, you probably wouldn’t want to broadcast it, let alone post an ad on the Internet.Andy Robinson

But that’s exactly what University at Buffalo basketball player Andy Robinson did. The junior posted an ad on Facebook.com marketplace in search for a student who could write a term paper for him for one of his courses.

    The grammatically incorrect ad read:

“I am paying anybody who have read the book ‘there are no children here’ by Alex Kotlowitz $30-40 which in some classes you have to read at UB (even more money if you have to read the book a little more!!) to write a 3-4 page paper, on a couple of questions which was assigned.”

Robinson, the leading scorer for the team at 13.4 points last season, has been suspended indefinitely and has since completely the paper on his own.

    Winston the Human Water Fountain

I literally watched this video over and over, wondering how Winston was able to spit out that much water from his body, on the drop of a hat. The title wasn’t just a catchy name, he literally looks like a human water fountain.

And now I’m not sure if I’m creeped out or impressed just yet. All I know is that I couldn’t stop staring. The man filled up a water bottle then proceeded to re-drink it for crying out loud!

Even Barry Zito Knows He Can’t Pitch

    Barry Zito

I was just looking over the scores from last night’s baseball games and I happened to check out the San Francisco Giants game. Now it doesn’t surprise me that the Giants lost, that’s a given. But when I saw who the losing picture was, I couldn’t believe that he still hasn’t won a game yet.

Yep, that would be Barry Zito. The man is now 0-5 with a 5.61 era and 10 strikeouts, bringing his overall record in San Francisco to 11-18. Usually I wouldn’t care about the Giants and their ace, but I just happened to remember two years ago, Zito claimed a seven-year, $126 million contract, including $14.5 million this year alone, making him the sixth highest paid player at the time. In other words, Zito hasn’t lived up to the hype and will soon be named, if not already, about to be named a bust.

And after last night’s short outing, he even knows he sucks.

“We came out and we capitalized on Webb’s mistakes. They gave me a lead of 3-0, and I feel like…(rhymes with spit). I let them back in the game. I gave them two runs in a shutdown inning, and then I went out in the fourth and gave up a hit to Webb.”

Webb would be Brandon Webb, the opposing Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher.

Well, I guess I can look at it this way, he may have had a rough year last season and is off to a bad start again this season, but look at the bright side. At least he has five more seasons to earn the rest of his money.
