Final Four to Feature All Number One Seeds for First Time

    Brandon Rush and Kansas

Kansas, Memphis, North Carolina and UCLA.

If you didn’t already know, those will be your four teams who travel to the Final Four in San Antonio to compete for the NCAA national title. All four of them were number one in their respective regions and it marks the first time in the NCAA tournament’s history that the Final Four consists of all number one seeds.

I don’t know how all your brackets are going, but I’ll be happy to say that I had all number ones going into the Final Four and Kansas winning it all. More luck than anything, since I put the thing together about two minutes before the first game tipped off. I know the Jayhawks had a nailbiter against Davidson, but a win is a win. It’ll be tough going up against North Carolina, but I think it’s possible to get a win.

Who do you have winning it all? Comment below and let us know!

    Chris Osgood vs. Patrick Roy

Well, yesterday I brought to you the recent fight involving Patrick Roy’s son, Jonathon Roy, but the guys down at HeatensOnline.com took it one step further.

They compiled their own list of their Top 12 Goalie Fights and who else but Patrick Roy to make it on their twice. Including the top spot on the list versus Chris Osgood.

Patrick Roy’s Son, Jonathon Roy, Gets in a Hockey Brawl

    Patrick Roy

Goalie’s usually aren’t the ones to get in hockey fights, but when they do, they are quite the show.

Former NHL great Patrick Roy’s son, Jonathon Roy, dropped his gloves and bee-lined for the opponents goalie. I personally liked how the referee tried to hold him back, but eventually couldn’t contain him.

I mean, why does everyone else around him get to have fun and he doesn’t?

I tried to find of good video of Roy’s fight and the other brawls, but I had no luck. I found this one, but I apologize for the French dude. At least I think it’s French.

This Just In: Jose Canseco Hates Alex Rodriguez

Big Names, Big Liars, and the Battle to Save Baseball

Jose Canseco’s new book Vindicted is going to be released to the general public starting April first, but one lucky reader was already able to pick up a copy.

Joe Lavin of Boston purchased Canseco’s fully titled book, Vindicted: Big Names, Big Liars, and the Battle to Save Baseball, that happened to be on sale by mistake.

The book, like you would have guessed and by what Canseco has been blabbing for months now, is going to reveal big names in baseball who have been taking steroids. Roger Clemens, Magglio Ordonez and Alex Rodriguez. All names we have heard before and all according to Canseco’s so-called personal encounters with these players.

But what’s even funnier and not even related to baseball is Canseco’s hatred for Alex Rodriguez. The juiced up has-been claims that even after Canseco introduced Rodriguez to a steroid supplier, Rodriguez was trying to have “relations” with his wife and was repeatedly calling her.

And Canseco makes it very clear at the end of chapter to A-Rod:

“So A-Rod, if you’re reading this book, and if I’m not getting through to you, let’s get clear on one thing: I hate your…”.

I can’t write the last few words, but I’m sure you can figure out what it says, or you can just go to Joe Lavin’s site and read it all for yourself.

I thought I read somewhere that steroids might give you mood swings, but I didn’t know it made you throw tantrums like a 5-year-old.

Tiger Woods’ Winning Streak Ends, Still Makes Bank

    Geoff Ogilvy

Tiger Woods made a great push at the end, but it just wasn’t enough to push him to victory.

The golf legend came up short, coming in fifth place, losing to eventual champion Geoff Ogilvy in the CA Championship at Doral, Florida.

It was the first defeat for Woods since September of last year, where he put together of streak of winning nine of his last 10 starts, including his last seven events worldwide.

If there is anything for him to smile about, at least Tiger took home a nice chunk of change. His share of the winnings this event was $285,000, pushing his career earnings to $80.2 million.

Not too bad for a fifth place finish. I need to check out how much a person makes when they come in last. I have some student loans to pay off.
