Roger Clemens - New York Yankees

The Mitchell Report has been out for quite some time now and finally Roger Clemens confronts the world face to face and denies using steroids or HGH (human growth hormone). If you haven’t seen the video because you were too busy stuffing your face this past week, here it is again. And if you’re an avid watcher of the news show 60 Minutes, Clemens states he’ll be doing an interview on the show to clear the air about him using steroids.

    The Rock - WWE Wrestling

I miss The Rock. I miss the charismatic character that would bring the People’s Elbow to anyone who dared challenge him in the WWE. What happened to characters like him in wrestling.

Here’s a flashback to his old days in the ring, calling out opponents and speaking in the third person with his rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas.

Santa Brings the Pain! Kicks Robber While he’s Down

Robber was running from mall security.

    Running is related to track.

    Santa tackling robber equals football.

So those are my reasons for posting this video of Santa Claus. And check out Santa’s form. He should work goal line situations for the Miami Dolphins. He doesn’t give up an inch! Of course, the kick at the end would result in a 15-yard penalty. Santa brings a bit of an attitude to the field.

    Enjoy.

Curt Schilling Tells Roger Clemens to Prove Innocence

Posted December 20, 2007 by nick

    Curt Schilling

Curt Schilling has never shied away from stating his opinion on his blog and with the release of the Mitchell Report, he’s sure not going to back away from this.

In his blog 38pitches.com, Schilling called out Roger Clemens to clear his name of using performance enhancing drugs or return the 4 Cy Young awards he has won. Schilling says states if Clemens can’t clear his name, that his career technically should have been considered over in 1997 when he had a win total of only 192 games instead of his now 354, because after that, his numbers are tainted.

These are strong words coming from a man who stated that when he was a rookie prospect in Boston, it was Roger Clemens who helped change his career. His “undressing of me and lecture were a major turning point,” Schilling wrote. “I’ve always respected his career accomplishments and regarded him as the greatest pitcher to ever play the game.”

I think Schilling is right. Although it will be hard to prove his innocence on whether or not he took performance enhancing drugs in the past, but if Clemens did take steroids, he should come clean and own up to it. I don’t know how much steroids or HGH can actually help benefit a pitcher, but if you look at the time period he took them and his numbers, then they look like they obviously work.

Although he has issued a statement denying steroid or HGH use, Clemens should try much harder to clear his name rather than stay in hiding from the world. The only things on the line are his legacy and what was once a sure first ballot entry in the Hall of Fame.

Michael Jordan Laces them up, Practices with Bobcats

So what do you do if you’re the GM of an NBA team and your team is in a losing slump?
Well, if you’re Michael Jordan, then you join in on practice.

His Airness laced up his Jordan’s and took the court for the Charlotte Bobcats yesterday in what he called a “morale booster.”

Seeing how his team is in the process of having lost 10 of 12 games, having an old man whoop up on them in practice isn’t really a moral booster if you ask me. It just shows them that not only do they lose to other teams in the NBA, but they can’t even keep up with retired has beens.

Maybe if they set up scrimmage against a junior high wheel chair league, that will do the trick?

    “Don’t Stop Believin’” Tony Romo

After Sunday’s embarrassing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in front of his new girlfriend Jessica Simpson,  I figured, why let the embarrassment stop there for Tony Romo.

After checking out SI’s Extra Mustard this morning, I had to post this video of Romo doing his own rendition of Journey’s, “Don’t Stop Believin.’”

Maybe the singing should be left to Simpson and Romo should stop soaking up his fame during the late nights and focus on football.

    Actually, scratch that.

Being an Eagles fan, I want Romo out all night so he throws three interceptions every weekend.
