So usually I write things geared towards guys, so I thought I’d post something directed more at the ladies. Plus anything with Jessica Biel is worth posting anyways.

Well, the lovely ReelGirl over at E! Online posted today the Incomplete Top 10: Sports Movies Made for Ladies. Although some of the choices are questionable (Red Dawn, Zoolander), she meant well.

Anyways, check out the whole list here at E! Online.

Chewed Michael Vick Cards Sold for $7,400 on eBay

This really proves to show that people will buy just about anything.

I’m just mad that I didn’t come up with this idea.

What am I talking about? Well, today an eBay auction that was selling 22 dog chewed Michael Vick cards ended, with the winner forking out $7,400 for the demolished cards.

Rochelle Steffen fed her 22 cards to her dogs Monte, a Weimaraner, and Roxie, a Great Dane, to chew and mangle. The result? The cards became the highest selling Michael Vick item on eBay. Even outselling autographed jerseys and collectibles.

The proceeds from the cards are going to be donated to the Humane Society.

    Golf Ball Water Globe Challenge

Have you ever seen a cat playing with a ball and wondered, “why can’t I have that much fun with something like that?”

Neither have I, but anyways, here’s a toy that is your equivalent to that ball of yarn.

If you happen to be looking for a small gift for a golf fan, give them the Golf Ball Water Glove Challenge. Yes this little object looks simple, just get the ball on the tee, right? But looks can be deceiving. A couple of people in our office have this and, although they have successfully done so, they didn’t stop until they got that ball on the tee.

Check it out at 3balls.com and pick it up for only $17.50.

Who is the Worst Player on Madden 08?

With Madden 08 having been on the shelves over a week, I thought I’d post a quick reference to who exactly is the worst player on the game this year.

Now we all have a good idea who the elite are of the game (although I don’t believe Brian Urlacher is the best player on the game), but the worst is not exactly as familiar.

So with out further ado, the player with the worst rating on Madden 08 football is….

    Drum roll please…

Is Oakland fourth year linebacker out of the University of Virgina, with a rating of 55…

    ISAIAH EKEJIUBA!

If I were you Isiah, I’d be a little upset. Even Miami punter Ryan Flinn beat you with a rating of 58.

    A PUNTER!

Brandon Webb’s Scoreless Innings Streak Ends

All good streaks are bound to end and that’s what happened with Brandon Webb’s last night.

The Arizona Diamondback pitcher’s scoreless inning streak ended Wednesday night at 42 innings when Prince Fielder singled home a run in the first inning.

The night still ended well for Webb as the reigning NL Cy Young winner got his sixth consecutive win after defeating the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2.

Webb, who started his streak July 20, gave up two runs in seven innings worked to improve to 14-8.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this on 100% Injury Rate this morning. But sure enough, the Iceman himself is dressed as a little boy scout in the movie, “The Postman Always Rings Twice.”

The Fantasy Stat for the Tuesday night belongs to Garret Anderson of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The outfielder’s numbers go as follows:

4 for 6 with 3 runs, 10 rbi on 2 doubles and 2 home runs.

Thanks to Anderson’s record setting night with 10 rbi, the Angels beat the New York Yankees 18-9.
