Madden 2008: The Fall of Vince Young

There’s a room waiting for you Vince Young. It comes with your own view, reclining bed and full room service.

No, I’m not talking about the suite you’ll be accommodating g on your next road trip, but your own private room in a Nashville Hospital.

You see, Young was unveiled as the next cover boy for Madden Football 08. For all you football and gamer fans out there, the curse should be nothing new to you. If I were a football star, I’d be avoiding that cover like it was Paris Hilton. You know something bad is gonna come of this. Keep it away!

And sadly for the Titans, this is the second time a player from their team gets to grace the cover since Eddie George did back in the 2001 season when a nagging toe injury that kept him from EVER putting up great stats again.

Kerry Collins, be sure to report to camp on time. You may be seeing some significant PT this season.

Young’s agent, Major Adams, says they aren’t worried about this so-called curse.

Well, believe it. It’s real. Just like the curse of the bambino was real. Yeah, the Sox have won a series, but how long did that take? Exactly. Don’t even ask Cub fans if they think the Curse of the Billy Goat is real.

Look at the past cover boys Vince. It speaks for itself man. All the other guys before you said the same thing. I’m not worried.

Yeah, but look at what happened to: Ray Lewis, Daunte Culpepper, Michael Vick, Donovan McNabb and Shawn Alexander!

All on the cover. All major injuries! All smucks for saying “I’m not worried.” Bet they believe in it now!

You know NFL MVP LaDanian Tomlison is in his San Diego mansion quietly jumping up and down, ecstatic that he’s not on the cover.

    Hell, I would be.
