Keen is coming out with of line of Hybrid Socks that will have your feet thanking your after hours on the move.

These socks are going to be made from Australian merino wool and will feature left and right specific fit designs in addition to having built-in arch supports.

Although it hasn’t been said when these socks will be released for purchase, I’m sure that this much attention to a pair of socks can only make your hiking or walking experience more enjoyable and easy.

Victorinox, the company that makes the famous Swiss Army Knife, has come out with a limited edition Victoria Collection to celebrate the company’s 120th anniversary.

Here’s the catch. There are only going to be 120 pieces made worldwide, with two designs: Gold and Platinum Editions, with both being lined with 430 diamonds.

Besides the sick amount of jewelry on the knives, the 3-inch knives come with a tweezer, 2 sizes of blades, nail file and cleaner, scissors and an orange peeler with screwdriver.

Brace yourselves for the prices. The Platinum knife is going to run for $70,000 while the Gold is going for a much cheaper $50,000.

Hurry! Since they’re only a limited amount of these collector’s knives, you may want to cash in on the kids’ college savings and put the house up for sale.

This is truly remarkable.

These two men helped to raise this lion, released it into the wild and then decided to come back after a year to see if it was doing OK.

Pretty gutsy move, since they wouldn’t know how the lion would react and know if she would remember them.

I could have swore they were going to get mauled when she jumps on them, but I was wrong. What’s even more crazy is to see the other wild lion appear and how surprisingly friendly she was as well.

But he’s been on a bike ride for the past 45 years.

Heinz Stucke left his house in 1962 at the age of 22, and has yet to return. He’s been peddlin’ his little behind off for over 335,000 miles, 211 countries and territories and is still going.

All on the same 3-speed bicycle.

He’s like that Energizer bunny. But on a bike.

I was reading The Gear Junkie and saw a sneak peak of the Sugio Helium Jacket that is to be released sometime in 2008.

Although there isn’t much to say about it right now, I just thought that it was interesting to point out that this jacket is only going to weight 8 ounces, making it one of the lightest jackets on the market.

So for those of you who admire lightweight gear and easy to pack items while you’re hiking, you should really look into this.

According to The Gear Junkie, this jacket will run somewhere around $100.
