Discount Cookeware - Tea Kettle - Williams Sonoma
Nothing is quite as soothing or as relaxing as a steaming cup of tea! :) If you are an adamant tea drinker take a look at the Chantal Whistling Teakettle from Williams-Sonoma.

When water comes to a boil, this teakettle’s Hohner harmonic whistle sounds off with all the resonance of a train whistle. The kettle’s flat base promotes fast heating while the wire-loop handle provides a cool, secure grip.

The teakettle is made of steel, it comes in your choice of colorful enamel finishes. (The stainless-steel version has a brushed finish.) The other colors are: blue, red and platinum.

The smooth enameled interior prevents mineral buildup.

    Price $120.00

I don’t cook and I’ve never had a big family but I love the idea of a big group of family and friends having dinner in a well-set table. Not just at weddings or bar mitzvahs but especially during the holidays. Someday, I’ll cook that big feast for my friends and family to enjoy and they will be wowed with the tableware that’s right there before their eyes. These are my favorites for Christmas:

    12 days of Christmas Williams-Sonoma

Williams-Sonoma’s take on the 12 days of Christmas, definitely more chic than a partridge in a pear tree.

    Golden forest plates from Horchow

The gold makes it holiday-glam. Gold forest plates from Horchow.

    Target Nature Holiday plates

I love these nature holiday plates from Target!

Boho Holiday plates from Rosanna at The Inglenook

    I love a good FONDUE! Let’s get to dipping…

Posted October 9, 2008 by evette

Well when my friend invited me to her fondue party I was reluctant at first. The idea of sitting around waiting for tiny pieces of meat to cook didn’t really appeal to me. Not so much with the patience am I. :)

Turns out the whole shindig was a blast! Great times, gives people an opportunity to get tipsy and talk. She had all the prep work ready. Chopped pieces of raw meat and chicken, assorted delicious sauces to dip them in when they were done cooking and she even had a dessert fondue set up. What I learned was that you need to add some oil to the chocolate as it melts to prevent it from sticking to the pot and so it remains fluid and not cake up and turn into a molten rock! The whole affair was very pleasant and quite delicious. Now I want one, a fondue set that is.

So here are some options I am debating on, what do you think?

Add another layer of said cookies or brownies, smoosh the mold shut and wham-o instant delicious!! The molds come in pig, cow and star shapes. They are dishwasher safe and cost $14.00 for the complete set of three.
