    orange clock orbit

Orbit Wall Clock $24.99 (was $35.95)

I love the cool, modern decor available at Wrapables.com. Everything they sell has a quirky and often colorful edge that appeals to my aesthetic sensibilities and desires. Right now they’re having a sale, and clocks are included, thank goodness. That’s where I spotted this Orbit Wall Clock. It’s kind of retro and kind of modern, so it will complement many different decors. And it would really spruce up a boring old white wall, don’t you think?

    Bulova Gilmore Wall Clock
Bulova Gilmore Wall Clock, $209 (was $269)

When I wrote my post on the Arts and Crafts Movement , I hadn’t seen this Bulova Gilmore clock. It’s part of Bulova’s Frank Lloyd Wright collection and is based on a window in his famous Airplane House created for Eugene Gilmore. The face has the signature FLW geometric look and the case is solid oak. The stylish pendulum, alone, is reason to buy this clock.

    Francis! Francis! Espresso Machine
Francis Francis! X5 Red Espresso Machine, $649.95

I think I’m in love with this espresso machine by Francis Francis! The shape is so sleek and it’s red and, well, how can you not love a red espresso maker? It even has a clock in the front, which will help you time the perfect pour. Incidentally, I find that 25 seconds is usually the right amount of time for a rich cup.

    Retro Red Clock

    Retro Red Clock
    Retro Square Wall Clock, $59.91

The kitchen is the place for fun home accessories like this red retro wall clock. Of course it can go anywhere in the house, but the bright red would really add a nice touch of quirk and character to a breakfast nook.

If your house was built in the 1940s-1960s, embrace its design with retro decor like this, which can really play up your home’s character. The details are what make this clock for me–the squared shape, the engraved lines, and the red metal hands. What a great look.
