I use to think that all towels were equal, in other words I would always choose the cheaper one regardless of quality.

Ahh, but there are some lessons you learn early and quickly in life. If I had a nickel for all the times I toweled off with a dark cheap towel only to leave my freshly bathed body with hundreds of tiny flecks of lint!

Well never let it be said that I don’t learn from my mistakes. I still don’t feel comfortable paying too much for towels but I do now take into consideration the quality of the towels.

Over the years, dishes are bound to crack, cups are bound to break, matching saucers go missing..

What was once a full set of pristine dinnerware is now a motley crew of mis-matched plates, glasses and assorted coasters. Ha! At least that’s what my cupboard looks like. I can’t be the only one, can I?

Don’t act like you have never peeked into a potential dates medicine cabinet! Fourth of July is this Friday, which pretty much guarantees that I will either be attending or throwing a BBQ in order to celebrate the Independence of our lovely nation! One of my favorite BBQ treats is corn on the cob - love, love, love it!

It might be because I was born and raised in California but I love smearing mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and butter on my corn. Followed by a sprinkling of cayenne pepper and a squirt of lemon or lime. Mmmm, my mouth just started watering, life doesn’t get any better than that. The only downside is with all those fixings on my corn, it is hard to get a handle on it! Which is why I have been searching for a cute set of corn on the cob picks and plates.

Crate & Barrel is one of my favorite stores. I really like the variety and quality of merchandise they sell. One of my favorite departments is the kitchenware and cookware section .

It is where I purchase all my little knick knacks for the kitchen and dining room . I am a big condiment person so I purchased these adorable tiny bowls that house my soy sauce, mustard, A1, pretty much any condiment I am using to spice up my meal.
