You can’t go wrong with earthy tones. This pillow from Pier 1 is around $30 and has a lot of detail in its flower embroidery. It’s also very colorful, which adds to the aesthetic appeal. This type of pillow would sit perfectly on top of a neutral toned couch. The fabric is also a key component to which you should consider–this type of soft, carpet-y feel wouldn’t suit a leather couch. The fabric has to be a little similar.

Alternatively, for instance, this plush, red pillow (also from Pier 1) is a great choice for a fancier couch or for a silky bed spread that already has a lot of work on it. Honestly I have been waking up with an ache in my neck that you wouldn’t believe, I feel like I must contort into a pretzel or something in my sleep to be so sore in the mornings. Maybe I punch myself in the neck while I dream?

Well until I install security cameras into my bedroom so I can review my sleep habits I guess this mystery will go unsolved. What I can do to ease the stress in the meantime is find better neck support.

I am a notorious pillow hound, meaning my bed is literally buried beneath a mound of pillows. I have two body pillows, two standard pillows and two goose down pillows, plus two decorative pillows that I pull off the bed before I sleep. That’s eight pillows folks!

There is a method to my madness, the two black body pillows form a barrier from the edge of my bed, and depending on the level of support I feel I need after a days work, I alternate between the standard pillows and the goose down ones for my head. Which leaves the assortment of other pillows for hugging and spooning, Haha.

I think its time I replace the pair of standard pillows I have, they are getting pretty nappy and have served their life’s work.

When I first get to work I am chipper, lively and still have that gleam of happiness in my eyes. Of course as the day progresses, my life force is slowly drained from my body and I become more and more hunched over at my desk .

Add to that I am fairly well endowed on the chesty chest. I am not bragging, as a matter of fact the girls are becoming quite a burden in my latter years. I am not joking when I say that it becomes cumbersome trying to remain erect with 6-8lbs of boobage strapped to your chest.
