    Checkpoint-Friendly Laptop Bags

If you haven’t heard about TSA’s checkpoint-friendly bag procedures, then let me be the first to bring you the news.

Your security buddies TSA are asking fliers to purchase these new checkpoint-friendly laptop bags in order to speed up and streamline the security process, while also noting that it will better help to protect your laptop.

These are the three styles that the TSA is asking bag manufacturers to make more of that are deemed CHECKPOINT-FRIENDLY:

Those that are deemed “not checkpoint-friendly” are:

Now these bags are only supposed to help speed things up in that annoying long line while also helping those peeking through the x-ray machine. The two styles above labeled “not checkpoint-friendly” sometimes have items that are above and below the laptop that are hard to make out due to the fold and all the pockets. TSA still has the right to search your bag if need be, but if you have one of these three styles, you are more likely to be able to leave your laptop in your bag and push it through the x-ray machine.

Lucky for you, Smarter sells all these types of models of bags. Check them out:

Actually, the character brought to life by Tim Burton didn’t really make this silly, rather it was molded together by Christopher Locke, who makes spider-sculptures from scissors that are confiscated at airports. Apparently you can buy the hardware at TSA auctions.
