JVC announced today the release of their new top-of-the-line noise canceling headphones, the HA-NC250.

According to JVC, these things can cancel out about 85 percent of extraneous background noise. To accomplish this, JVC has incorporated two of their own innovations to the design, in addition to their noise canceling circuitry.

First, each earpiece has a double housing structure that gives it extra insulation and helps block out the sounds. And second, they have a new technique for attaching the headphone’s memory foam cushioned ear pads to the housing, which help to block out background noise.

Some other notable features include the weight, which is a light 5.3 ounces, and its ability to fold flat and slim for easy storage.

These new headphones won’t be available till early August and are going to run about $199.95.
