We stumbled upon this interesting and environmentally friendly item at the local computer parts and accessories store this past weekend and wondered: “WTH?” But after some research, it’s less kooky than we thought.
Apparently, I’m the only person who hasn’t seen this, well, me and my cohort since we both had the “WTH?” look on our faces. Another wooden version is available from Marubeni Infotec (as well as USB drive, we’re sure you’ve seen already).
You can even get a Do-It-Yourself wooden keyboard kit from Hacoa if you’re so inclined.
Environmentally friendly, yes. Style points, yes. Unusual, yes. Not sure on functionality since we haven’t tried it out, but it is interesting to look at and would complement the jungle-themed office quite well. I kid, I kid. I can see some real possibilities for this.
