I live in Southern California and I’ve been noticing signs everywhere that say starting July 1st, if you’re talking and driving on your cell phone, that you must use a hands-free headset. It’s the law.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’ve been waiting for this news about the 3G iPhone for quite some time. I’ve been craving this new phone for God knows how long, not only because a) I need to feed my inner impulse shopping desire and b) my Blackberry has seen it’s final days and I’m in desperate need of a new cell phone.

So without further ado, the launch date of the new 3G iPhone has been confirmed and will be introduced on June 9th at the WWDC Keynote and is believed to be available for sale right after. Although the source is supposedly some “very, very close” to the launch, getting the news from someone “very, very close” to Apple is better than anything.

So now, I’m just counting the days till I get to spend my savings on the new iPhone. Lets just hope they don’t jack up the price.
