I love tattoos just as much as the next person and I understand that my taste is not necessarily someone else’s. When it comes to tats, my general philosophy is “to each his own” even if it looks horrible or raises my eyebrow like an R.I.P. memorial to a beloved Pomeranian pup that looks like every other Pomeranian pup, but is essentially a portrait of a deceased animal on your calf.

Like this one, I love me some WoW gametime but I guess I’m just not hardcore enough to go this far.

Anyhoo, strangeness aside–super cute, super geeky, somewhere in between, they’re tech tattoos. You gotta love ‘em.

Just saw these and I have to ask, do they come in a boxer brief as well?

If you have a fascination for death, then you’ll love this lamp. It’s sure to…lighten up your day?

I can honestly say, I’ve never seen a lamp as unique as this noose-shaped one. And as expensive: $6,395. I’m all about being unique, but this is…depressing.

As if waking up in the morning wasn’t miserable enough, maybe if the person is really cranky, they’ll just strap this baby on and go for a twirl. Yes? No?

I have two guesses on who may actually use this noose. The designer Marie Thurnauer when she realizes no one will pay thousands of dollars for a lamp that reminds them of death or the one person out there who actually buys it and realizes they can’t find a replacement bulb for it.

I wonder what people would write about me when I die. Something I obviously won’t be able to witness, but lucky for Steve Jobs, he can proof read his!

While updating the Apple founder’s obituary, the folks down at Bloomberg News accidentally published the story, giving us a full 17 page description of the icon’s life that is yet to be completed. BUT, if he were to die today, man, what a great life he lived.

You better come up with an iPhone that can send us to space Steve. Anything less from here on out is going to be a failure.

It’s amazing to me what people will pay for these days.

Behold! The Shouting Vase! For only $80, this magnificent invention will allow you to scream at the top of your lungs without the neighbors hearing a peep! Something you’ve been waiting to do your whole lives!

I’m in the wrong business. This thing is just a vase with a hole in the bottom. Put some plastic flowers in it and you’ll never know the difference and call it abstract art.

I can do this, if not better. I wonder if I can fool the public to fork out $80 on a $5 pillow. I can hear the sales floor now:

Customer: “Umm, what is this?”

Salesman: “A Noise Stuffer.”

Customer: “No it’s not. It’s a pillow.”

Salesman: “To the naked eye it’s a pillow, but let me demonstrate.”

The salesman screams into the pillow. Only a muffle!

Customer: “Wow, I’m sorry. I’ll take two. Junior has a temper.”

I have to admit, I was lacking inspiration for this week’s entry, so I went to the one place that never seems to be short of inspiration, Urban Outfitters. While there I spotted this incredibly unique USB portable flash drive in the shape of a yummy salmon sushi!

It’s a nifty and stylish way to carry your computer files from home to class, to work, and back. This drive holds 1 GB of memory and is Mac as well as PC compatible. Cost: $50. While you’re there, snatch up this Tuna-shaped one too!

Well, not really. I just always wanted to say that.

But if there was such a thing as the coffee mug patrol, they would love this little gadget.

An office worker’s coffee mug can sometimes serve as a personal shrine. It’s a reflection of themselves and they don’t want to share it with anyone. We’ve all seen the working class mom strolling around the office with the cup the reads, “The World’s No. 1 Dad.” Sorry Louise, it doesn’t fit you. And guess what? The “No. 1 Dad” is left without his morning cup of Joe.
