Today marks the release date of the new Dell Adamo laptop.

And at first glance, I have to say this thing looks pretty slick. It looks like Dell has tried to put something together to compete with the Mac Book Air. I haven’t personally had a chance to try one of these out, but if I had to be superficial and judge by looks alone…well done.

The Dell Adamo comes in the two models: the Pearl and Onyx. Which is just a stylish way to say “white” and “black”. And here are some quick features it has:

• It’s ultra-slim 6.4 inch profile
• 13.4 inch widescreen 16:9 HD display with edge-to-edge glass
• 5+ hours of battery life
• Cool, quiet solid state drive
