I’m not sure if this is really “cool.” That’s why I said “weird cool stuff.”

But apparently this is the future of eyeglasses. Soon all those near sighted folks in the not so distant future will be wearing these headband/glasses to help reduce the strain glasses put on your nose and the weight pushing down on your ears.

Inventor Huang Mei is awaiting for his patent to go through for these “Avant-garde Frames” so that he can start producing these suckers.

I’m not sure who is will to walk around with this weird looking headgear, but I think I’ll take my chances with lasik or the old fashioned glasses.
