For those of you who have been eagerly waiting, the release of the new Wii Fit is set to be ready for sale next Monday, May 26th. So now you have no excuse to continue to lounge on the couch and not be active somehow. For you video game fanatics, you can get into shape and enjoy what you love at the same time.

So how is this supposed to get you fit? Well, for instance, the Wii Fit utilizes a balance board and it’s games are designed to focus on areas such as balance and strength. It’s games will do anything from step aerobics to push ups.

I don’t know how much more challenging the Wii Fit is going to be, but if it’s even slightly more challenging than the games now, it’ll be worth it for those looking to get in shape. I remember playing Pirates of the Carribean and I thought I was going to have a heart attack when I got surrounded by five goons, trying to attack me. I thought video games were supposed to be relaxing, not give me a stroke and forearm cramp.
