Time Travel Coming in April?
Apparently it takes more than a DeLorean and 88 mph to send someone back in time.
A group of Russian mathematicians has said that after the atom-smashing machine at the European Particle Physics Centre near Geneva opens up in April, the ridiculous speed in which they smash the atoms will be enough to allow small particles to be sent through time.
Apparently these mathematicians didn’t play close enough attention to Doc Brown in Back to the Future. It’s not the speed that matters in time travel, but the flux capacitor and just a little bit of uranium to make it possible.
Now as for getting back once you’re in 1955, you’re on your own trying to find a bolt of lightning and a clock tower.
