I’ve seen some weird things in my day, but this one is unique in it’s own right.

The Hip Office from HK-Ergonomics allows you attach this fiber glass strap around your waist so that it can hold a laptop. It not only creates a mobile desk, but it also forces you to use correct posture.

I’m not gonna lie, this thing looks a bit awkward and hideous and I’m wondering when people will actually wear this thing. Maybe I’m just old fashioned and think that a desk and sitting upright in your chair is good enough for correct posture.

Can you imagine people walking around on Wall Street and in corporate America with this thing strapped to their waist? It’ll only be a matter of time before the phrase, “is that a hip office on your waist or you just happy to see me?” catches on.
