Uniden MaxTrax GPS to Include Radar Detector

    Uniden MaxTrax GPS

I haven’t heard much about this except from what I happened to catch on Gizmodo this morning, but it looks like Uniden is going to have a GPS/Radar detector built into one device. Apparently there will be a version of the Uniden MaxTrax GPS system that is going to have a built-in radar detector.

So for those of you who have a heavy foot and want to be able to know where you’re going and where that cop is hiding on your GPS, you don’t have to wait any longer. Apparently Uniden is going to combine their long history of making radar detectors with their new introduction into the GPS market.

Not much is revealed about how the GPS will spot cops or traffic lights or whatever, but when I find out, I’ll be sure to update you.

Until then, keep it under 100 if you can.

Disposable Soles Stick to Feet, Keep them Clean

Are you the type of person who likes to march around barefoot, but hate getting your feet dirty.

Well, even if you’re too lazy to put some slippers on or clean your floors, these new little disposable soles are just for you.

These Disposable Shoes by Jun-Soo Choi are made with premade stickies and come in a ready to step on container. So all you do is step on one and away you go. These things are not only good for hygiene, but they also protect your feet from whatever danger might be on your kitchen floor.

Here’s another idea. If you’re worried about keeping your feet clean, how about taping some Swiffers to your feet and popping on a little Footloose by Kenny Loggins and make like Kevin Bacon and scrub them floors!

I’m just throwing that out there.

So this week I contributed to the $77.2 million that I Am Legend made in its opening weekend and I recommend everybody to go see it. It was a good flick. But most importantly in the trailers, I got a glimpse of The Dark Knight. For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, I had to post it. The only thing now is that I have to wait until next summer to get my Batman and Joker fix.

Pay GameStop Now for a Wii, Get it in January

As everyone knows, the Nintendo Wii is in hot demand and nearly impossible to find for the holidays. But if you’re willing to shell out the cash and wait an extra month to get one, then your moment has come.

GameStop is offering a one day promotion on and only on December 21st called the Wii Certificate Program, that allows you to walk in the store and pay for your Wii and get a certificate in a customized DVD case that states you can come back January 25th and pick up your new Nintendo console.

At this point this seems to be the best deal out there, so if you’ve got the $250 bucks, I’d suggest you suck it up and go down there first thing in the morning and reserve your Wii. The hard part will be trying to convince little Timmy that Christmas doesn’t come until January 25th and not in December.
