Pictures of the New Kitt from Knight Rider

I came across these photos for the new Kitt car for the upcoming series Knight Rider and I thought it would only be fair to share them with you.

The car is a now the Shelby GT500KR Mustang and not the old GM F-body and packs about 550 hp. Not bad.

Now the only question that remains is whether or not the Hasselhoff is going to make a comeback.

Leather jacket, chest hair, fro and all.

Multi-Media Bed is Heaven and Expensive

She will be mine. Oh yes, she will be mine.

This multi-media bed that is. This thing is everything a slacker needs to sit in bed and just put on the big game or whatever you happen to stumble upon.

Check out what this thing comes with:

    • A retractable 32-inch Sony Bravia HDTV in its footboard
    • A five-disc DVD/CD changer
    • An iPod docking station
    • Five-speaker surround sound
    • A subwoofer underneath
    • A computer-controlled massage mattress

What’s the price tag on this baby you ask? Just a modest $35,000.

Junior doesn’t need his college fund nearly as much as you need R&R so go ahead and splurge.

Wii Players Invent their own Wii Horse Controller

Those crazy Nintendo Wii addicts have come up with yet another way to make their Wii experience a bit more realistic.

Well, if you call riding a toy horse simulating driving a car realistic, then they’re on the right track.

That’s what these little guys did with this horse that I know they stole from a daycare. It looks like all they did was strap a controller to the back of one of these things to invent the Wii horse.

If they combine this with the Wii Bat, these guys could have their own interactive arcade.

Click on the video to watch a video of the Wii horse.

MIT Designers Come up With Folding Scooter

    Folding Electric Scooter

Aw, those little geeks down there at MIT have come up with an even more compact version of a scooter.

This thing not only helps the environment because it’s electric, but once you’re done embarrassing yourself riding one of the little things, you can just fold it up and bring it up with you to the office.

    But there’s one more catch.

These little scooters might be popping up around cities near you. There are plans to let you rent these little buggers at one stand and return them to other stands and posts set up around the city. Pretty nifty eh?

This idea sounds very similar to the bicycle vending machine I wrote about a while back.

Verizon to Allow Any Application and Device in ‘08

    Verizon

Looks like Verizon is gonna lighten up next year on what devices they allow into their network.

They announced today that starting in early 2008, Verizon is going to open up their network to any wireless device, software and applications not offered by the company.

Apparently, Verizon has a $20 million dollar testing lab where they will be testing devices to see if they are “good” enough to be on their network. If the device meets the minimal technical requirements, then they’ll be allowed onto their network. So, technically then, they’re not letting ANY DEVICE onto their network.

So much for me trying to build my own iPhone out of a coat hanger and Gameboy.

Yahoo Stores Down on Cyber Monday

    Yahoo

It looks like some Yahoo Store owners might miss out on the busiest online shopping day of the year: Cyber Monday.

The online equivalent of Black Friday, Cyber Monday is the day online shopping sites have been waiting for. Webmasters using the Yahoo shopping cart noticed this morning that transactions were not going through. Hopefully, online customers will go the extra mile and phone-in their orders.

Apparently, the site has been down since about 6 a.m. today. For example, sandboxcouture.com, which is one of the top baby clothing stores online, told CNBC that it hadn’t received any hits from Yahoo Shopping since that time this morning.

There is no time set on when this problem is to be resolved. If you’re shopping online and you find a great product at a Yahoo Store through Smarter.com or any other site, please check if there is a phone number listed and phone in your order if the shopping cart does not work for you. Many shops that use the Yahoo Stores platform are small businesses and this outage is not their fault.

And if you’re looking to save a bit more today, then you should check out the Cyber Monday coupons at CouponMountain.com. If you find a Yahoo Store listed here, just let them know about the online coupon code when you call in. I’m sure they will be willing to honor the online discount.
