I know it sounds evil, but I know I could have a lot of fun with something like this.

Intelligent Optical Systems is developing a new form of flashlight for the Department of Homeland Security that is not only annoying when flashed in people’s eyes, but can also make a person puke with the right amount of light.

The flashlight uses a range finder to measure the distance to a person’s eyes and it adjusts the level of light to shoot into a person’s eyes so that it doesn’t cause permanent damage. It then shoots out rapid pulses of light from an array of ultrabright light emitting diodes or LEDs, causing a person to feel disoriented or nausea.
