    Cheap Monday on Tuesday

In 2004, four friends opened a store called Weekend in their hometown that carried high fashion and second hand clothing. There was a demand for cheaper, yet still fashionable denim so they decided to design a brand called Cheap Monday. Since then, there has been a high demand for the brand in stores across the world.

“Our idea is still to offer the customer fashion at an extremely good price. We want to put Cheap Monday alongside more expensive brands, in stores where we would want to shop ourselves.”

Today, Cheap Monday can be found in twenty eight countries and in over a thousand stores all over the world! These jeans are made to be very fitted, colorful, and skinny and can be found anywhere from Urban Outfitters to a Bloomingdales near you. It’s going to be really hot this summer with Cheap Monday’s around. Go get yourself a pair and make a statement.  I already did!

    Cheap Monday’s Striped Jeans

    Cheap Monday Striped Jeans
Now I love a good fashion risk, but I don’t believe these striped jeans by Cheap Monday (featured on Denimology) would qualify as such. Inspired by the 60s, they’re proof that some trends from past eras need not resurface. And maybe I’m prejudice, but multi-colored vertical stripes almost always equal silly to me. I can’t even imagine a way to make them work…maybe tucked into boots… as cutoff shorts…hemmed to Capri-length? Sigh, I just don’t know, and I don’t think they’re worth the effort. It would really take a special person to pull ‘em off.

If you think you’re the one person who might look good in these, be my guest: they’re only $57.14 at caliroots.com.
