    Designer Inspired Look: Stellar Stella

Stella McCartneySo, I’ve always been a fan of Stella McCartney—she’s definitely mastered that effortless cool, which earned her the British Designer of the Year Award last year, and I love the way she’s always maintained that underground, slightly rock ‘n roll, hip girl look in each of her collections.

Stella celebrated her Resort 2009 collection this past June in a garden party sort of fashion, debuting in NYC’s Jefferson Market Garden in the West Village. The collection is yummy!

If your going to do the flower in your hair, always opt for fresh ones, pink carnations are not only cheap but a total retro throwback…love it!

I love this look entirely! it’s really great for back to school wear. i bought a couple shoes that look like the ones mentioned, i also bought a few pairs of jeans, my favorite being from this great manhattan store called house de lux.

Flowers in the hair is so elegant whether it is an old-fashion, retro, or hippie look . Weddings are a time wear the tradition is to adorn the hair with flowers, but why wait for a special occasion? I love the adventurous look of this outfit, but not the fact that the jacket is longer than the shorts. Either the jacket needs to be shorter or the shorts need to be a longer. The footwear the model is wearing looks different than the listed shoe. I like the listed shoe a great deal more than the ankle boots that the model is wearing.
