Happy Blogger Tuesday, all! And happy 2012, as I’m sure a lot of you readers are back to school and work today with the official end of the holiday season. (I know. Yuck.)
Yuck, yes. But let me try and brighten your day with a few stylish blog posts to kiss last year goodbye, and ring in 2012. Check ‘em out.
Caitlin at Style Within Reach – 2011 in Outfits - The super-sweet and lovely Caitlin shows off her style evolution over the past year with this montage post. I was getting loads of inspiration! I love the way this lady uses pops of color, pretty details and good ol’ fashioned classics to make her style sing. (Oh, yeah. And a strategic red lip for an extra dose of glamour.)
Kristyn at Red Carpet Closet – No Words, Just Photos: 2011 - Watch Kristyn Burtt interview celebs, work red carpets and, generally, just look fabulous in her picture post recapping the past year. In case you’ve never visited Red Carpet Closet, the girl has an amazing job (host and interviewer of the stars!). I got tons of ideas for formal style for the coming year, and am still obsessing over that lace-sleeved, sapphire-colored dress look of hers. Take a look at the post to see what I mean… Amazing.
Diana at Dressed Up Alligators – Aztec Stair - Diana has one of the most unique-and-chic styles on the web. I am constantly in awe of the way she uses color and mixes prints. Aztec Stair is a perfect representation of that. See how she pairs burnt orange with bright red, an aztec print with subtle lines. Take a cue from Diana for 2012, and take a few fashion risks.
V at Grit & Glamour (with special mention of Kristina at PSS) – WVW: Glitterati by Pretty, Shiny, Sparkly* - I couldn’t help but share this post with you! Grit & Glamour’s V wears her Glitterati shirt, designed by Pretty, Shiny, Sparkly’s Kristina. (How cool to see bloggers-turned-designers?! What incredible influence!) Props to K for the sophisticated creation, and V for the daring styling. I wish I could have this shirt in my closet. Sparkles, button-downs and army green? All my things I want in my wardrobe for the next 12 months.
Which post gives you the most 2012 inspiration?
