Blogger Tuesday: Glam Ideas For A New Year’s Eve Outfit

Happy Blogger Tuesday, friends! I hope you’re still basking in the glow of holiday cheer.

I totally am. Although, with Christmas officially behind us, I can’t help but feel like January 1st is just too close for comfort. I am still living and breathing the holidays, and I am not ready for 2012 in a measly few days. Are you feeling the same?

If we can’t stop time in its tracks, we should at least enjoy the end of the festivities with some amazing style. Need ideas for New Year’s Eve that are super-glam? Thought so! I’ve rounded up a group of thoroughly inspirational posts just for you. Take a peek at these bloggers’ looks, and transition your clothes from Christmas to New Year’s. You don’t have to lose any of that holiday shine.

Enjoy.

Lynzy at Sparkling FootstepsHoliday Light – Lynzy (pictured left) has mixed the perfect amounts of “low key” and “glam” together for this holiday look. If you’re not planning on a formal party, try taking a page out of Lynzy’s book by pairing a subtly sparkly skirt with an off-the-shoulder sweater. Accessorize lots. Check out her full look over on Sparkling Footsteps!

Kendall at Kendall DonaldsonParty Pants – Glittery skirts are fairly common for the holidays, but why not pants? Kendall dares to wear sequined pants, and pulls them off so well. Make like Kendall and pair this statement piece with a neutral top… and, of course, a red pout. Perfect for an unexpected New Year’s Eve look.

Kelly at The Glamourai{gilded} lily – Kelly Framel looks awesomely chic in this gold, glittery dress and black coat. She keeps the look sophisticated by keeping her jewelry gold, and working black accents like tights and that handbag. If you want to amp it up a bit for the coming holiday, don’t be afraid to add pops of color to a similar style. Red or bold blue? Would be completely great.

Taylor at Sterling StyleHappy Holidays – Ah. We often forget the wonders of a Little Red Dress. Taylor Sterling, blogger and founder of Glitter Guide, looks gorgeous in crimson. The red dress is just as incredible worn on Christmas or New Year’s Eve… just change up your accessories. A sparkly clutch drenched in silver sequins or a glittery heel would look fantastic to amp things up for a big party to ring in 2012.

Whose look do you like best as a New Year’s Eve style?
