Happy Thursday, fashionistas! We wanted to take a moment to extend our warmest congrats to Theresa— our most recent giveaway winner. Theresa won the $50 Forever 21 Gift Card Twitter Giveaway! She was kind enough to give us a quick little interview and answer a few questions about herself:
How did you hear about this contest? Do you usually enter a lot of contests?
I heard about the contest through Twitter. I don’t enter a whole lot of contests, but I do like to retweet the ones I find interesting on Twitter. I will occasionally enter a contest on some blogs that I follow, though I don’t win often. It’s still fun to read up on new products though!
What are your favorite fashion blogs and magazines? Why?
Smarter.com, of course! I like to read Lucky Magazine and Vogue. I will occasionally get caught with a People magazine to see what fashions the celebs are currently wearing.
Where are your favorite places to shop? Why?
I like to shop at many different places. I don’t like to limit myself to one type of store. I’ll shop outlet stores, discount stores like Target, and Ebay for great bargains. At thrift stores you can find some great vintage pieces at awesome prices. When we go into Chicago I like to shop at some of the cool boutique shops they have that we don’t have here.
Can you tell me a little bit about yourself and your fashion sense?
I don’t have one certain fashion look that I am set on. I guess you would call it eclectic. It just depends on my mood that day. Today I can be wearing a worn down 80’s tee, jeans, and flip flops, tomorrow I’ll throw on a Shoshanna dress and heels. I like to change it up daily to keep myself from getting bored.
How did you feel when you won this prize? Were you surprised?
I was so excited. Forever 21 is my 12-year-old daughter’s current favorite store, so we spend a lot of money there.
Any other notes or comments that you’d like to include?
I just want to say thanks again for offering the giveaway and all the hard work you put into running Smarter.com. It’s a nice place for me to come and indulge in after a busy day of dealing with day to day life!
