Happy Blogger Tuesday, friends! Today, we’re talking going-out style, courtesy of blogger extraordinaire Jasmine of Web Haute Jas. Her fashion sense and blog is just like her–classy with a dose of the trends, and plenty opinionated! But first, let’s take a look at Jasmine’s look! Here’s what you should copy the next time you head out for a night on the town:
Cover up! Blazers and chic cardis; there’s no reason not to take a cover up when you’re heading out for a dinner. Jasmine’s chosen a cool creme option, which is perfect for the summer months. For fall, just go a little darker! Gray and black are my favorite blazer colors.
Keep is classy. I love that Jasmine has chosen a really sweet pair of shorts for going out. Shorts are tricky, because you really don’t want to wear cut-offs out… those are for daytime or the beach! Opt for a tailored style to class up your look a bit.
Fun shoes. You can get away with a lot when it comes to kicks, so have fun! I’m obsessing over Jasmine’s too-cool yellow and royal blue shoes. She’s playing with two trends in one piece: color-blocking and cut-outs. Girl knows how to channel the best trends, right?
Try an oversize clutch. I’m a big fan of the clutch, but I hate how it barely fits all my necessities. (Come on, tell me I’m not alone. I carry my life with me in my bag!) Jasmine decided to work the oversize clutch in this look, to perfect effect. It fits all her essentials, still has the same low-key, dressed-up quality of a tiny clutch and goes with any going-out ensemble. I’m loving it!
