After months of talking, rumors and speculation of what Kate Middleton was going to wear on her big day, it was finally revealed to the world that it was, as assumed, Alexander McQueen‘s Sarah Burton who designed the now Princess Catherine’s wedding gown. But while everyone waited for Middleton to come out of the Goring Hotel and into her royal ride (Hello, Rolls Royce!), there was some serious fashion going on over at Westminster Abbey.
If there is ever a time to dress up to the royal nines for a wedding, it’s the Royal Wedding (obviously). The wedding invitations specifically noted that the ladies wear hats and many of the ladies (including Victoria Beckham, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice of York and London socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson) took things up a level (or five) with eye-catching fascinators. These outlandish accessories made watching the wedding of the century that much more exciting. So to get in on this trend, I’ve picked some of my favorite (and definitely wearable) head pieces for this weekend – and beyond! Any weddings on your agenda? Simply add a cocktail dress, sassy heels, clutch bag and you’re good to go!
