This season is all about bright colors, for which I am so ready! This wintry weather seems to be dragging on and, although I can’t wear my full spring wardrobe yet, I can at least incorporate bright colors and prints to remind me of spring. One of my favorite things that I saw walk down the designer runways for this season were brightly colored pants, like the ones seen at Prabal Gurung’s Fall 2011 show. The red top might be too much for daily life but the pink pants with a slouchy black tee would be such a cute outfit.
You could also do a red skinny jean, like these from Wildfox. The best part about wearing these is that you really don’t have to put too much thought into
the rest of your outfit. Since the jeans will stand out on their own, pair them with a plain sweater and black pumps for an instantly fabulous look. Spice things up by pairing them with a striped tee and gold bangles and you are ready for date night!
For the summer, these J Brand 811 jeans in bright blue (they also come in yellow or fuchsia, which are fun, too!) would be perfect if paired with a floral tank and nude sandals.
Who knows how long this trend will last but I, for one, am loving it and adding it to my wardrobe now! Try it out, you might like it too!
