Would You Rather Have a Hot body or a Gorgeous face?

Which would you rather have? An averagely attractive face and a body like a goddess or the sort of face that stops people in their tracks atop a less-than coveted frame?

At the end of the day, obviously everyone would rather have both, right? WeÂ’d all love to be blessed by the genetic gods. If you didnÂ’t have to choose, you wouldnÂ’t. And many donÂ’t have to anymore, with sundry cosmetic procedures available to all… from scrubbing away bad skin with micro-dermabrasion to melting fat from your thighs with a super-hot laser to getting a set of butt implants (true story), lip implants, cheek implants… having strings inserted under your skin to pull back a weak chin or even having your hairline re-positioned if unhappy with it. The options for re-invention of both the body and face are endless. Plus, a bit of good old-fashioned exercise, watching what you eat and taking care of yourself do go a long way as well.

We might already have the answer though. According to a few studies, it seems that we women notice bodies more than we do each otherÂ’s faces (although we tend to look at menÂ’s faces when judging them) while men shop around for a pretty mug when looking for wife material, not paying as much attention to whatÂ’s going on below the neck than we do. In fact, a recent study showed that men donÂ’t even notice if youÂ’re wearing high heels or bog-standard plimsolls, so why do we hobble around in back-breaking stilettos? To get the attention of other women, apparently.

However, I swear I once read a study that said while we women notice other peoplesÂ’ bodies more, we pay more most attention to our own faces than bodies. If this is indeed the case (if anyone knows the study IÂ’m referring to, email me the link! I canÂ’t find it!), what do you think about us holding others to one standard (bodily beauty) and ourselves another (facial beauty)?

What do you pay most attention to about yourself? Okay, now how about random women you see on the street?

At the end of the day, weÂ’ll simply be taking care of what you have and trying not to covet what we donÂ’t or weÂ’ll make ourselves miserable and thatÂ’s not a good look on anyone.

Gorgeous face. There is nothing more sad than someone with a rockin’ bod but a face that doesn’t match.

Like you said, men care much more about the face of a girl they’re going to marry than their body, and a beautiful face will last your whole life. You can’t guarantee the body will last that long.
