New BECCA Prairie Moon Collection Launches for Fall

Cult Aussie brand BECCA has launched its new fall collection, Prarie Moon. And it looks to be a big hit with itson-trend, neutral, mauve and khaki products.

The smoky Prairie Moon palette ($76.38) will be useful to to create barely there eye makeup or a gentle grey-green smoky eye with the khaki and putty-colored shadows and liners. Voile, Nappa and Chennile are all warm tones, ranging from a bisque to a sage. Voile and Nappa have a matte finish while Chenille and Sagebrush have glimmery finishes. The Macchiatto gloss is a deep, brown-red in the pot, but goes on sheer with a warm, peachy finish.

Plus there’s a new eye tint called Pewter ($28.20), which is the metallic to wear this fall (like the limited edition Minx nails Teresa Smith did for Gareth Pugh’s S/S ‘10 show). Like the rest of the eye tints, this glides on like a cream and sets like a powder so you can sport a long-lasting, water-proof metallic eye without it smudging.

The lipstick in Oleysa ($28.20) is a soft nudes with caramel undertones, perfect for creating the messy Bardot look this winter or pairing with that lightly smoky eye. Plus, itÂ’s emollient — chock full of Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Coco Butter — making it the perfect weapon to combat dry winter lips.

The new Fig Beach Tint ($29.38) is such a hit it sold out almost instantly. This dusky mauve-rose creme blush is perfect for cheeks and lips and gives just the tiniest hint of a flush. ItÂ’s also perfect for creating the no-makeup makeup look, another big trend this fall and winter.

Overall, the collection is a bit romantic Bohemian, thanks to the dusty rose and softness of the hues, and itÂ’s a little bit mod-grunge with itÂ’s khaki, caramel and putty colors. Wearable both day and night, we predict itÂ’ll be a hit.
