What I love about bronzer is that it’s the secret weapon of the workplace. Everyone has the blush and the eyeliner and the lipstick, but with a little bit of bronzer, you look young and
fresh but also well-rested. I always look so pale in the mornings, especially: it’s good to give your skin a wakeup call! Don’t wear bronzer to the beach or the pool: it will wash off immediately, and if you lay out in the sun with bronzer on, you won’t effectively tan. It’s kind of a reverse psychology. But let’s give it a shot!
Supplies Needed:
Bronzer
Blush
Foundation
Large handled blush brush
Moisturizer
How to apply a bronzer to the cheekbones
1 After foundation and blush is applied, go on to the bronzer!
2. Apply starting on the apples of your cheeks and working your way back
3. Mix the bronzer and blush together on the brush
4. Apply the remainder of the mixer lightly to the rest of your face (in small circle motions) to the forehead, chin, and nose.
TIP: Don’t blend with your fingertips, only use the brush!

This video is helpful because it shows you the proper application: it shows you where and how to apply the bronzer to the cheekbones, and how to achieve an all-natural glow. But it doesn’t tell you exactly how to prepare your skin for bronzer. Here are some of my prep tips to help sustain your glow throughout the day:
1. Make sure your face is clean before you start. Use a light facial scrub and terrycloth towel to clean up you face of excess oils, and dry your face before you apply the makeup. Remember to dry thoroughly!
2. Please, remember to moisturize before you begin to apply foundation. Moisturizer helps you absorb the foundation, and if you’re going to be putting on a few different layers of makeup (foundation, powder, blush, and bronzer) you are going to have to have moisturized skin! Parched skin won’t achieve that beautiful, natural dewy look: you will look like a powder-faced donut!
