It’s almost that time of year… where love is filled in the air, and jewelry is on every girl’s top ten “gimme gimme” list. One of the most worn accessories, especially for women in love… is a ring! Rings are metalwork of gold, silver, or platinum made of semi
precious stones and diamonds. Yes…diamonds! As Marilyn Monroe sang, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend“… I’m sure we can all agree to it. Whether it’s an aspiring stone expected from a special someone or another one to add to our lavish collection of luxury jewels, we all want at least one in our life. Besides the clarity, the carat, or the metalwork used for each diamond ring, you must consider the cut.
For Small Hands: Choose a stone cut in a pear or oval shape. These shapes are unusual cuts. They are wide in the center of the stone and thin out along top and bottom. This type of cut helps lengthen the look of your fingers and flatters those with small hands and short fingers.
For Long Hands: For those with big hands and longer fingers, choose a princess cut. This type of stone cut helps elongate the look and brilliance of the stone and creates the illusion of the length of fingers. Making the overall hand look well proportioned, this makes every true princess happy.
For All Hands: A classic cut that complements any size hand or finger length would be the round cut. The round stone cut is one of my personal favorites and to me, symbolizes the circle of life as it is done on the cut of the stone. With an even proportion and diameter of shape, this stone cut flatters all hands big or small!
