Tell you the truth, I actually somewhat enjoy the AXE body spray commercials. You know the ones, geeky guy spritzes this stuff on and Eureka! gorgeous women start going nuts. They amuse me, absurd as they are.
They should make one for women, I imagine it would smell something like sporting events and beer. Ha!Â
Well my little brother’s birthday is coming up and lord knows the dweeb could use all the help he can get with the “ladies”. I love the rascal but he smells like a mix of diaper rash, fear and sweat. Not the sexiest combo, that’s for sure.
I was thinking of getting him a care package, chalk full of this AXE stuff. But first – does anyone know if it actually smells good?Â

I have a son who has been axing up for about the last three years, he uses all the products but is about ready to get a more sophisticated fragarence. I think it smells great! He is fifteen now and never got the stinkys. I like it when he sprays it on in the morning it smells nice and pretty mellow and the girls tell him how good he smells
For your brother i think it’s fine. I however think the smell is a little overwhelming..It almost gags me! It’s like you smell it before you see the person then when they leave you still smell it. lol..It’s like Omg you’re here…and Omg you’re still here.
My 18 (almost 19 yo) has been using Axe deo since introduced to market. Now expanded into the bodywash/hair products he uses them too! I think they smell great and don’t find it too lingering after he leaves!
the new chocolate one smells pretty good actually. my son loves it hes 13!!
My husband wears them and I think they smell pretty good. There are a few scents that I’m not fond of, but I think which scents you’re gonna like are just based on personal preference.
OK…I have to admit…a personal Axe addiction. I was in the grocery store with my 15 yr old son and he said, hey mom this one smells really good. I ended up buying one for him and one for myself. It was the new Chocolate. I think some of them are totally unisex. But, then I’ve worn certain men’s fragrances for YEARS… Eau Sauvage among others.
Axe can linger for awhile and some guys go overboard with it but with the right amount it smells great

Axe smells good on younger boys, but when they get to be 15 and 16 it gets outdated. I like it, I think it smells good, but not if your brothers in his late teens or older.
my ex boyfriend uses axe and hes 25. i LOVE the way they smell!!!
My brother has been wearing Axe for years, I think it smells great, in moderation! Some of the scents can be really overwhelming & I almost choke when he sprays a little too much in the house, but once it’s diffused it smells really nice on most guys!

I think Axe smells great, when used in moderation. When guys spray too much on it is a MAJOR turn-off, but just a little is very appealing.
with respect, the commercials are obviously selling something far different than many of the posters are talking about,., if your mother and/or sister like a fragrance, that might well be a reason not to buy it.
The commercials are implying that eligible females would be attracted. Almost a pheromone thing. Obvious hype.
I’d axe Axe, sorry – not a fan of their body sprays nor their commercials.
