Witches of Eastwick

There are so many possible fashion-forward Halloween movies to celebrate todayÂ’s festivitiesÂ…but in terms of icons, thereÂ’s nothing better than Susan Sarandon, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Cher from Witches of Eastwick. For your personal celebration, become a true transformation: just this about the huge leaps in character, fashion, and sexuality these three women made during the film! ItÂ’s amazing the effect Jack Nicholson has on women from the late 80Â’s. Amazing.

The Nervous Bookworm: Quivers my heartstrings every time Sarandon breaks her cello strings and lets her hair down with the help of Nicholson’s “Daryl”. To be your own nervy bookworm this Halloween, buy some thick classes and a beige sweater. Or better yet, be Sarandon post-transformation: dye your hair bright red and curl it, and wear a floor length silk sleep gown.

Bizar-tist: Cher really pulled off the crazy feminist potter with her fertility sculptures and hair piled on top of her hair with chopsticks. Overalls are coming back, my friends, but you canÂ’t do it right unless thereÂ’s paint all over them.

Working Woman: And who can forget Michelle Pfeiffer and the cute, over-sized, pseudo-masculine clothing she wears? To pull off her look, try out a bowler hat and an oversized, animal-print suit jacket (available at your closest vintage clothing store).
