IÂ’ll be honest, I am one of the few people in this world that doesnÂ’t own a pair of LeviÂ’s. Now, itÂ’s not that I donÂ’t want toÂ…I just get lazy with denim jeans sometimes and buy whatever fits or whatever is on sale. LeviÂ’s arenÂ’t cheap, but theyÂ’re also not expensive when compared to designer denim. I want to pick up a pair soon and think I have found my match made in heaven: the LeviÂ’s re-issued 1970 flare jeans.

Levi’s is calling these their reissue of an “archived” 1970’s version with a hi-rise cut and signature ‘arcuate’ stitching on the back pockets, they also have a little bit of stretch in them which makes for a perfect fit.

I also don’t own any levi’s, so i decided to get some a few weeks ago, and to my horror, every pair I tried on were hideous on me, they either made my legs look short or like i’d gained 19 pounds. it was so strange as i have never excperiencedd this with jeans, i normally get them from topshop or h&m, and if i’m treating myself from shopgoldyn.com, and the fit is perfect! It’s so weird as so many people wear levi’s and look great, so, what’s up with that?
I LOVE Levi’s! If you’re looking for great deals on a pair, go to Ross Dress for Less or TJ Maxx. They always have a wide selection of Levi’s for between $10 and $25 bucks. I was looking at a pair at Macy’s for $78 and ended up finding the exact same pair at Ross for just $12.99!
i love these! it’s so weird that i don’t own any levi’s either. i just bought a pair of wide leg denim trousers by xcvi from artful wears, but i think these levi’s are different enough in cut and wash to justify getting them as well. i check this blog frequently. great job!
Oh my gosh, Desiree… puh-lease tell me that you purchased these! I have a pair, and they are A.MAZ.ING!!!
I work at a Levi’s store, and started calling them “magic jeans” because no matter which girl went to try them on, no matter what her body type, they seemed to just fit… magically! The stretch in them and the high waist make it that perfect jean to accommodate to any body… so while it might ride in the waist exactly where it’s supposed to for a girl with no but and wider waist, but a girl with bigger hips and butt, it will come a little lower, but it’s still high enough on the back that it’s not embarrassing.
I hope you got them!
