Personal Pick: Grey Ant High-Waist Denim

So, in case you havenÂ’t noticed, IÂ’m really inspired by styles from the 1970Â’s. Let me re-phrase that: I wish it were the 1970Â’s. Although, I may be alone on my quest to find dresses, blouses, and certain denim washes that channel a young Linda Ronstadt (love her!), I know a trend when I see one and this summer itÂ’s all about the high-waistersÂ…jeans that is.

No, the look isnÂ’t for everyone but when done right, the look is terribly chic. Dittos made a resurgence a few years ago and are probably my favorites, but a lot of denim companyÂ’s are doing theyÂ’re own version of the high-waisted, wide leg trouser, and Grey Ant was a new one I came across this week. My favorite thing about these is the washÂ…I would wear them with a red cami tucked in and a skinny brown belt. Voila! Blue Bayou here I come!
