Yesterday was the day for animal print lovers everywhere. The latest in H&M’s power partnerships, the Cavalli collection at H&M was unleashed Thursday to the delight of hoards of eager fashionistas, who waited in line for hours and kept their eyes on the grand prize: affordable Cavalli gowns, jackets and suits. Even Cavalli, himself, with model Jessica Stam in tow, showed up for the spectacle at H&M’s 5th Avenue location in NYC, where the iconic designer lavished in the declarations of love from frenzied fans.
The line sold out from Chicago to the London, and apparently there’s no more to go around. Yes, after months of hoopla, the whole thing is sadly over. Well, except on eBay. There, my friends, the saga is just beginning.
